Description: "Cooper sculpt." Cf. lower right margin of eastern sheet. "Note the Townships bounded by a Red line were laid out during the Government of the late Duke of Richmond." Also covers most of New York and northern Pennsylvania. On linen backing. With several new townships added north of the Thames; all townships shown in York and Simcoe counties west to line Luther to Zero; townships north of Lake Ontario added to line Mariposa to Emily, Marmora to Oso, Dalhousie to March; shorelines have been revised in the St Clair River, Georgian Bay, and Penetanguishene areas, and north of Balsam Lake from Lt Catty's exploration in 1819. The insets of York and Kingston show more roads.
